Resettlement

Resettlement refers to the process of relocating individuals or groups from one place to another, typically involving the movement of refugees, displaced persons, or communities due to conflict, natural disasters, or other humanitarian crises. The goal of resettlement is to provide a safe and secure environment where these individuals can rebuild their lives and integrate into a new society. This process often involves legal and logistical considerations, including the provision of necessary support services such as housing, healthcare, and employment opportunities, as well as facilitating cultural orientation and social integration into the host community. Resettlement can occur internationally (such as when refugees are moved to a new country) or domestically (within the same country).
